Municipal Archive and Publications
The municipal archive of Olvera has a great volume of historical and administrative documentation as well, being useful for the management of the City Council itself and for the citizens, as it may be required for administrative aims or as source for history.
The oldest historical document dates from 1543. It is also interesting the Capitulary Minutes (since 1642), Expedients of Fifths (since 1699), Patrimony (since 1590), as well as abundant documents of Treasury (since 1550). In terms of the administrative documents, the most recent date than can be consulted is until nowadays, the 20th and 21st Centuries.
Although the state of preservation of the documentation is generally good, we find some parts deteriorated (historical almost). However, it is been carrying out a great labor of digitalization and media adaptation of the documents by the hand of the Public Administrations.
